The group has been formed in February, 2000 when Olga Pulatova (a piano, a vocal, the author of songs) and Elena Vojnarovskaja (the guitar, a vocal, the author of songs) have started to rehearse in domestic conditions. Officially Birthday of group considers on March, 8, 2000 when except for Žlga and Lena in group the third person - Julia Zemljanaja (flute) has appeared.
About the name - everyone treats at own discretion - for someone the word "Flñur" is a flower in translation from French, for someone - Bodler's "Flowers of evil", for someone - music... And in general in Russian word "Flñur" has remarkable value - "a cover of mystery".
Debut Flñur has taken place on March, 17, 2000 on evening of the program "Atmosphere" in theHouse of the Actor in Odessa. Dmitry Vekov, the author of this program, and now remains the active participant of group. In May, 2000 in structure Flñur has appeared Katerina Serbina (violoncello), in August, 2000 Alexey Tkachevsky (percussion), in January, 2001 Vitaly Didyk (contrabass), and autumn of 2001 Alexey Dovgalyov (keyboard). As from such structure it has turned out current one, history holds back, the only thing that managed to be found out is that Ekaterina Serbinoj's leaving hasn't been saddened with quarrels and disassemblies between musicians.
For three years of existence the group has given hardly more than ten concerts, but each of them represented the new program. Some interesting principles to which follow Fleur: New songs in due time become a new plate; a plate should be issued because of desire to make new songs accessible to listeners; The mission is that songs got to the interested listeners. Criterion of concernment can be only listeners; The group not begins to apply popular methods with the purpose to interest anybody their songs; At any concert are always sold plate Fleur; Sponsors are not advertised at the concert; Tickets costs so much, the situation how many demands; Concerts are a mystery.
Many attempts to enter Flñur in any frameworks, whether it be "neoclassic", "dream-pop", "gothic style", "etheral" have ended with that that musicians gave own definition - "cardio-wave". The French label "Prikosnovenie" specifies similarity of music Flñur with such collectives as Cocteau Twins and Bel Canto.
Flñur has released one official album - the "Touch", two informal - "Almost alive" (record from a concert on June, 17, 2000 in the Odessa House of the Actor) and "Heart" (record from a concert on November, 10, 2000 in the same place). At present in work to be the new studio disk "Magic" which release is planned to autumn.
